me like an owl

i watched a biblical film “Paul: The Apostle” last night. ug pare ko halos 3 hours ang movie. nulantaw ko ani mga ala una na ng buntag ug nahuman nakog mga alas kwatro. and kakagising pa nako karun. siyempre, i glorified God for giving me another die. such a blessing indeed~

semester ends?

well, actually my classes ended last tuesday afternoon.

i envy my erstwhile classmates back in high school, for most of their classes ended 3 weeks prior to holy week, while me, just 1 week before the latter. i only have 1 week to spend time in my hometown and go back here in iligan to take some summer classes. yes, summer classes, just gettin’ rid of minor subjects so that i could focus more in my major subjects this coming june. :D

when i took a photo of this “baby” stem, i wondered how big trunks of trees like those found in virgin forests began to grow. i remembered what my elementary teacher told us that stems grow to trunks by absorbing water. by this virtue, i then realized that trees are really important. they help preserve underground fresh water, not only that, they also store some water right in their roots and trunks. this is how important a tree is.
